Position Overview
The PR Manager builds and maintains Youngblood Magazine’s public image, manages press relations, and promotes partnerships with brands, artists, and cultural institutions. This role ensures the magazine’s mission and aesthetic are communicated effectively to the public.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and distribute press releases.
- Build relationships with media, influencers, and cultural organizations.
- Plan and execute events, launches, and press opportunities.
- Coordinate with Art and Editorial teams on campaigns.
- Monitor and respond to media coverage and public perception.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in PR, communications, or media relations.
- Excellent writing, networking, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of cultural trends and media outlets.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Compensation
This position is paid through a stipend, which will be distributed when new issues of Youngblood Magazine are released. The stipend amount is based on available funds after each issue is released.
