Position Overview
The Videographer produces high-quality video content that brings Youngblood Magazine’s editorial and visual vision to life across digital platforms. This role is responsible for filming, editing, and delivering video interviews, live DJ sets, fashion features, and other multimedia content that reflects the magazine’s culturally relevant aesthetic. The Videographer collaborates closely with the Creative Director, editorial team, and other visual artists to ensure videos align with the magazine’s storytelling goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shoot and edit video content for online features, social media, and multimedia projects.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director and art department to execute visual concepts.
  • Manage lighting, sound, and camera setup for high-quality production.
  • Edit footage to maintain consistency with the magazine’s aesthetic and tone.
  • Assist in planning shoots, including locations, schedules, and creative direction.
  • Stay informed on video production trends, techniques, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Professional experience in videography, film, or multimedia production.
  • Strong storytelling and visual composition skills.
  • Proficiency in video editing software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively under deadlines.
  • Knowledge of contemporary culture, fashion, music, and media trends.

Compensation
This position is paid through a stipend, which will be distributed when new issues of Youngblood Magazine are released. The stipend amount is based on available funds after each issue is released.
